GRIIDS, which stands for Grid and Rate Infrastructure Investment Data Service. GRIIDS aggregates and streamlines system performance, operational performance, grid investment, and rate case data across US investor-owned utilities (IOUs) as a service for industry players and stakeholders to perform quick benchmarking and/or advanced analytics to drive time-savings and improved decision-making.

Services

Strategic Planning & Thought Leadership,
T&D Technical Studies, & Engineering Services,
Generation, Renewables, & Energy Storage Development,
AI/ML Applications & Data Analytics Services, and
Program, Project, & Contract Management

The products will be paid for in full when used and services will be paid for in full when the services are ordered.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all the services that are displayed on our Site at the time you access it. All information, descriptions, or images that we provide about our services are as accurate as possible. However, we are not legally bound by such information, descriptions, or images as we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all services we provide. You agree to purchase services from our Site at your own risk.

We reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order whenever it becomes necessary. If we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will give you a refund equal to the amount you paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.

Subscriptions

Your subscription automatically renews, and you will be automatically billed until we receive notification that you want to cancel the subscription.

Free Limited Access Trial

We may offer the following free trial of our products and services. The free limited-access trial may include access to all features available on our site, with limitations on data downloads.

At the end of your trial, the following will occur: You will revert to a guest access with lower access levels unless you paid in full for the product or service. You may be billed on our monthly or annual subscription rate, depending on your choice. If you do not want to be billed, you will need to cancel your subscription before the next subscription renewal date.

Payments

When you provide us with your payment information, you authorize our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your payment information, you authorize us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument.

If we believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.

Consumer Protection Law

Where any consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms and Conditions will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and that legislation, the mandatory provisions of the legislation will apply.

Kootanla provides the Site and its services “as is” without warranty of any kind. Kootanla disclaims all warranties to you and to all third parties, whether express, implied or statutory, regarding the service, including without limitation any and all implied warranties of merchantability, accuracy, results of use, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement of third-party rights. Further, Kootanla disclaims any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, virus-free, or secure.

Kootanla does not provide any warranties regarding any information, content or other material that is created by, provided by, originating in or owned by any person, company or public agency other than Kootanla and which Kootanla makes available through the service (“third-party materials”). The third-party materials may vary from time to time as Kootanla in its sole discretion chooses to incorporate new third-party materials into the Site content or remove individual third-party materials from the Site content, or if individual suppliers of third-party materials discontinue their publication, discontinue Kootanla’s access to them or make them available to Kootanla on terms that Kootanla deems commercially impracticable.

Limitation of Liability

Kootanla and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses, including legal fees, arising from your use of the Site. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the service is to stop using it. Without limiting the foregoing, Kootanla’s maximum aggregate liability to you for losses or damages that you suffer in connection with the Site or this Agreement is limited to the amount you may have paid to Kootanla in connection with the service during the month prior to the action giving rise to liability. You agree to interpret this section as inclusively as Illinois law permits.

Indemnity

Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless Kootanla and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

Severability

If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.
