Our Story

Kootanla was derived from the Yoruba phrase "Okuta Nla," which means "Big Solid Rock"  and symbolizes 'stability' or 'dependability.'  A rock can also serve as a sharpening tool or an important landmark.  In Christianity, rocks have even served as a life source in critical times for the Israelites.  Kootanla represents all the above in the services and solutions we provide to our customers.

Kootanla was formally incorporated in January 2023 as a consulting service to help people and companies bridge the gap in career and professional development.  In 2024 Q4, we evolved our business strategy and launched a new set of solutions and services for the energy & utility industry.
